No matter how chaotic things get in the fashion arena, Nina keeps a cool head. That may be down to her bachelor’s degree in psychology, or simply to where she comes from: the Ruhrgebiet.

The humanities gave way to a passion for fashion. Nina studied fashion design at Hamburg’s Armgartstraße, picked up editorial experience along the way at magazines including Grazia and Maxi, and began her career assisting stylists such as Wiebke Bredehorst and Ingo Nahrwold.

Alongside her work as a freelance stylist, Nina served from 2015 as a staff fashion editor at Tush Magazine, realising numerous productions, before moving to German Nylon as fashion director in 2017. Ballsaal has had the pleasure since October 2014. Based in Hamburg.
